Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Like height, not happy with drawer fit

nan2025 7/14/2025

Video shows drawer rails removing with clips. Actual purchased drawer removes with screws which are difficult to line up to reattach. Clips would have been nice. If the pedestal gets out of alignment, the drawer rails have no adjustment to get them to fit squarely into base. One pedestal works fine, the other has a drawer that will not completely close.

Must have these

Loving laundry now 11/2/2024

Bought washer and dryer in an appliance store. They didn™€™t carry the pedestal, which was a ™€œmust have™€ for my back. Coming to the Maytag website had the best prices AND a discount for two purchases PLUS free shipping. I couldn™€™t find them available in any local stores, and the big box stores that had to order would have been higher and/or charged for shipping. These were shipped out right away and my son and I assembled them in a careful couple of hours. What a joy it is doing laundry now. The drawers hide all my laundry products making the room seem less chaotic and more organized. So very pleased with the purchase.

Totally worth the purchase!

Barking Dog 7/26/2024

I purchased a set of these pedestals for my own washer and dryer and was so happy with the ease of access to both appliances that I have since purchased 4 more for my tenants. Raising the units up makes so much sense. It™€™s easier to load and unload each appliance without really bending over. The storage is wonderful in the large drawer underneath.. It really helps de-clutter the laundry room. For the price, I would certainly recommend these pedestals to anyone purchasing new units.

Don't Buy This Pedestal

Jfmeeks 6/16/2024

Installed March 2024. It has excessive vibration. Talked to Maytag numerous times. They sent out Appliance Express (central Texas area) 3 times, said they can't find anything wrong. Asked them to check pedestal installation, they said "we only do mechanical & electrical." Appliance Express said if they come out 4th time, they'll charge $150, if they don't find any problems, even though it's still under 12 month mfg warranty. Couldn't get Appliance Express or where I bought it (Lowe's in Killeen, TX) to check pedestal. Lowes local store mgr said "we only deliver, we don't install," and I needed to talk to Maytag. Maytag wants to send out Appliance Express; they don't check pedestals. I had someone else remove the pedestal and ran a load of clothes with high spin cycle, the machine didn't vibrate and you couldn't hear it spinning. This told me the problem is the pedestal, but couldn't get Maytag, Lowes or Appliance Express to check it. So much for warranties. I would not recommend this pedestal, it's cheaply manufactured.

what do you want? 9/8/2023

Our advice is do not buy a Maytag washer! We bought our machine in March 2023 & have had nothing but trouble with it. Our previous washer was a Whirlpool duet & a GREAT machine. It is unfortunate appliances don't last longer than 10 yrs.

Poorly built

Lilito 3/28/2023

Bought 2 of these directly from Maytag, one was fine, the other had one of the runners installed backwards so the drawer didn™€™t pull out. Unless you are very handy this would have been a massive hassle. We were able to take off the runner, reinstall it the correct way and now it works. I love that my washer/dryer are boosted up now, and I like the storage space. Love that these are made in the USA BUT for buying something brand new from a reputable company I expect it to be built properly. Clearly no one checks these before they are shipped.

BonitaMahan 7/27/2020

I am short at 5'0" but too old and stiff to be constantly bending over for laundry. The pedestals are way overpriced in my opinion and the pull on the front looks like chrome but is plastic; however, I am glad I purchased them as they keep me from having to bend over and they hold all of my laundry soaps keeping the area neat and tidy.

I bought the pedestals for my washer and dryer for the extra height. I have back issues and bending is painful on most day. With this product I can wash and dry my clothes without bending and for the first time in years my back is not screaming in pain. These are the best products for people with lower back pain.

INADEQUATE DESIGN

LauraH 8/20/2019

I began using my new washer in May 2014. After 3 years of use, the machine began to rock back and forth. I called for service, and they leveled my machine. It was better, but not back to the original functionality. Over the next 2 years, the machine rocked more and more. I once again made a service call. After determining that the machine was NOT out of level, we inspected the pedestal. The three screws that secure the metal brace at the back of the pedestal were no longer in place. There is no lock nut to secure them. Over time, they will increase the size of the hole and back out. Without the brace secured to the back of the pedestal there is no stability to support a running washing machine. Maytag needs to do a better job of securing this brace to support the pedestal. AND if you are trying to diagnose your rocking washing machine, I would suggest you check the pedestal first! My husband replaced the screws with a bolt/lock nut and my machine runs like new. I'm out $190 in unnecessary service calls, but my machine runs quietly and efficiently once again. I am also disappointed that I first wrote this review over 2 months ago. I received an e-mail from Maytag and confirmed my submission, however, it was never posted.

Great height

KAS5 1/2/2019

I like the height. With this pedestal, the front-load washer and dryer are high enough to easily reach in and out. The top isn't too high to use for folded items. I'm 5'3". My only negative is the price, but I'd buy it again. I use the drawer as a holding spot for items waiting for my next trip to donate to Goodwill.
