Subpar Dryer with Limited Features

Capacity is fine, as you know what you are getting when ordering it.
It really struggles with anything more than half the drum. Trying to dry a Queen Sized Comforter will likely take more than one run some with any heavly loads of clothes or heavily soaked clothing.
Controls are very limited, giving you only three options, automatic regular heat (which often still leaves clothes damp, especially the waist bands of jeans, and other thick parts of clothes), timed high heat, and no heat, it is noticeably missing a low heat/delicates option.
My biggest gripe with this dryer is the lint trap and gasket system. The lint trap enclosure is a cheaply made plastic that does not sit flush against the lint trap itself. Resulting in lint getting trapped in the plastic enclosure itself. What is worse however is the door gasket design, I have no other words to describe it other than awful. A ton of lint goes right past the gasket and straight up into the exhaust, bypassing the lint trap. A lot of lint just gets trapped around the door so when you open it, lint falls onto the ground or right onto your newly dried clothes.
Noise is pretty standard, not in the realm of quiet by any means but nothing out of the ordinary.
Overall, I would not reccomend this dryer to anyone. There are plenty of better options out there.

I owned a few of these dsksecww models over the past 25 years. When they broke down after seven or eight years I just bought a new version of the same model. They were great up until my most recent purchase. The new dryer makes a loud metallic crunching sound when it™™s operating. So far I had one exchange, new parts delivered and installed, three service calls, some unknown number of no shows and cancellations in between everything, and hours of time on the phone trying to track people down or reschedule. The last repair crew that was here finally said that GE changed the design of the dryer internally and the noise is being caused by the wall mount kit WMK35 that I™™ve used for the past 25 years with no issue on the previous dsks333ecww dryers. The dryer is totally quiet when it™™s sitting on the floor, but starts up a racket when it™™s hung back on the wall using the wmk35 kit that fits perfectly in the slots on the back. The technicians recommended buying the dsdr24f stand kit now which I don™™t have room for in the closet. There™™s no one reaching out from customer service to try to make things right so after all the time invested trying to get this resolved I just gave up and live with the noise. Will never buy a GE product again.

I have gone through 3 brand new dryers! First 2 on delivery door wouldn't shut! The 3rd one looked okay but after setting it up tried to start ! If you held start button the tub would turn but would not stay running! kept one finger on start button and one on door switch it would turn but upon releasing door switch it would stop! No matter what I tried it would not run! 3 brand new dryers ALL DEFECTIVE! sent back canceled order! Hellow whirlpool!

This is a apartment size dryer and you would never know it by the way it drys our clothes. I would recommend this dryer to anyone who needs a dryer and don't have much room.

The brand new dryer arrived with a defective drum, it™™s not perfectly round so it bangs constantly while in use. Called GE, they sent a technician 2 weeks later. He had to order a new drum, it™™s been here for several days now and the service appt isn™™t for another two weeks. So, I haven™™t had a working dryer in almost a month.
It doesn™™t have very many settings. Also it™™s only 120v, had I known more I would™™ve gone for a more powerful 240v dryer. Now I™™m stuck with this one. It takes 3-4 hours to dry a load. Don™™t buy this machine.

Clothing consistently gets stuck. We had this dryer in our rental, it broke so the landlord bought a brand new one. The old and new consistently cause clothing to get stuck. The straps get stuck in the hard lip of the door, we even had to cut some straps off because we couldn™™t get them loose.

We are incredibly happy with our dryer. We have space and electrical limitations and this dryer is a perfect fit. We have it stacked on a rack above our washer. I can fit a much bigger load of wash and our dry time went from 4 hours to 2 hours! I'm looking forward to seeing how much electricity we save by not having to dry clothes as often and as long as with our old dryer.

using it for the first time, so far drying is good, however i have it as a stackable, and since i opted for the dials to be at the bottom, I notice the top of the machine is unfinished, In addition, it shakes quite a bit as a stackable, but as stated I just got it today and using it for the first time, I will look into options to stabilize it further. The noise level is not quiet but is fine with me, sounds like dryers I have had in the past and is also similar to noise levels in the laundromat.

I reside in an apartment that does not have a washer and dryer hook-up. A well working 120v dryer with a 15amp plug was like finding a needle in a haystack. The place I bought it from was the only one in seven cities that had one. It was a scratch and dent and missing the knob. But works perfectly. Dries everything fairly quickly and is spacious for being a compact dryer. I would highly recommend this dryer for apartment living, or any tight spaces.

I have nothing against this dryer. It came with my apartment; the lint trapper works, it's functional. The only things that are kind of very iffy for me are that the dry sensor doesn't work and the way the door swings can make it very easy to hit your head. But regarding the dry sensor, I usually just put the clothes on the timed cycle for 90-120 minutes, and everything is warm and dry!

This product was installed two days ago. The lint trap sits on the top of the dryer's grooved exposed steel-colored metal plate which is not flat and smooth due to the grooves. The air duct is attached to the top via screws underneath an exposed steel-colored metal plate. To be clear, there is no top white panel, and top surface is simply the exposed metal colored plate. Poor planning and design on GE's part. It looks like a high school project.
